Most of the world do not understand feminism. It is among the popular belief that to be a feminist means you don't respect men and family. Well, let me tell you why this is wrong.
According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, feminism is "the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes". Feminist all over the world just want the respect they deserve. This doesn't mean that they hate men or family.
There are women who call themselves feminists, but they are not. Some women do feel that women are more powerful than men and deserve to be treated better. Don't let these type of women speak for all feminists.
I consider myself a feminist and I don't hate men. I desire to see balance of the sexes. Men and women are equally important to our society. It is both that creates balance in our family structure.
